Event Planning Is Never A Solo Activity

One of the biggest lessons we’ve learnt running events is that operational problems rarely happen because people are bad at their jobs. More often, they happen because teams are working from different information.

One department is looking at an outdated map. Another hasn’t seen the latest schedule change. Someone moves infrastructure without the flow-on effects being communicated to the rest of the team. Suddenly small disconnects become operational headaches.

At Great Escape, collaboration has become one of the most important parts of how we plan and operate the festival. Site teams, artist liaison, bars, signage, traffic, volunteers, production and creatives all constantly impact one another. Everyone needs visibility, and everyone needs to stay aligned as plans evolve.

One Team, One Source Of Truth

That’s a huge part of why we built EventLab around shared, live information from the beginning. Event planning is not a solo activity. It’s dozens of people working across hundreds of moving parts, often remotely, often under pressure, and usually against the clock.

Our new Live View feature takes that one step further. Instead of just sharing the same map, your team can now work inside it together in real time. You can see teammates moving around the map live, follow their cursor, collaborate on builds together, and instantly understand what your team is working on without needing endless calls or messages.

Because the more connected your team is, the smoother your event runs.
